A BASKET OF FISH

Portsmouth Cathedral is full of fish. And sailors. Biswas responds to this place in a contemplation of the resonances between The Book, the building, and the net - all able to catch only partial, hard-edged glimpses of what is essentially ambiguous and evanescent.

Directions to Cathedral: Take the M275 Portsmouth exit from the M27 and follow the signs for Isle of Wight Ferries past University Buildings and up to Cambridge junction roundabout (junction of High Street, Museum Road and St George's Road with Portsmouth Grammar School) then continue straight on at the roundabout, down High Street. The Cathedral is at the end of the High Street, on the right hand side.
